Multiple Shifts - Display order

When you have multiple shifts occurring on the same day, SchedulePro will show only one of them in the employee's view. A blue asterisk will be added to the cell to indicate that there is more than one shift on that specific date.

Which shift will show in the schedule?

Rule 1: if we have one working shift and a leave, the system will display the working one.

Rule 2: if we have two working shift or two leaves, the system will display the one that has the earliest start time.

Rule 3: if we have two working shifts or two leaves that start at the same time, the first one created will be the one displayed.

  • In this example we start with a MisL and we add a second leave.
  • MisL is on top. It will be the one showing.

  • If we start with a Temp leave and we add a second leave then Temp is on top and will be displayed.
