Dynamic Search Methods

Discover workers sooner with our enhanced Candidate Finder, where search methods adapt automatically to display only relevant options. It's ideal for customers with diverse search method categories based on operational context (groups) and timing considerations (weekends/holidays). This enhancement improves the scheduling experience by only showing relevant search methods for assignment.

Define by Group

Our team can define specific search methods by group. In the example below, the group Process Operators use the shift bid search method, but the Operators do not. By defining this in the backend, only shifts for Process Operators will populate the shift bids search method.

When filling shifts for Operators, the shift bids search method is not visible within the candidate finder.

Define by Day of Week

Our support team can also set up search methods to only show on certain days of the week including holidays built into SchedulePro. This is beneficial for search methods that should only be used on certain days. In the example below, the search method for straight time is only available on weekdays, since other processes are in place for weekends or holidays.

The overtime search method populates on weekends and holidays instead of straight time.

Configuration Process

In order to set this up, you will need to work with our support team. Please send an email to Support with specific details on what you would like set up.

If you would like to discuss this in more detail, or have questions about your existing search methods, please reach out to our support team to set up a meeting. Please note, configuration requests may result in an additional fee. The initial meeting will determine scope of work and whether there is a fee associated with the work.
