New Schedule View

Improved Coverage Summary is Now Accessibility Friendly

SchedulePro has redesigned the coverage summary to improve functionality, accessibility, and scannability.

Bigger Font and Shift Color

The first thing you will notice with the new schedule view is the bigger font we are using for the requirement lines in the Coverage Summary and the Employee List assignments. The bigger font size helps the readability of the schedule and an easier identification of the assignments.

Also, now the shifts, instead of having text color will be kept with black text but will have background and side bar color for easier identification.

A colorblind-friendly color palette is now used, versus relying on red and green to indicate understaffed and overstaffed areas.

Requirements and Shifts with Same Color Coding

The heading column of the coverage summary now adopts the same color coding as the employee schedule section. This visual enhancement allows schedulers to quickly locate scheduling areas that need changes.

Multiple Shifts Now Display in a Single View

Schedulers no longer need to take the extra step of opening a detailed view to see an employee’s full schedule. Now, if an employee has multiple shifts or leaves on the same day, the employee’s schedule section displays all shift entries upfront.

Enhanced Visibility for 7- and 14-Day Assignment Views

The legibility in the 7- and 14-day assignment view was improved by making the structure and headings within the employee schedule section more pronounced. Also, schedulers can now conveniently see all employees working within a particular location, position, and shift, providing users with greater schedule visibility at-a-glance.

New Hover Effect Eases Visual Fatigue

We have added a “hover effect” to draw attention to the scheduler’s cursor movements when working with an extensive schedule set.  A blue bracket will now appear when users hover their mouse over various sections of the schedule. This enhancement reduces fatigue by helping schedulers keep track of their cursor as they move across the page.
